Here is a video link of a Ranger ride that we took down through one of the old fire lines in the block. We then lite the two sides seperatly. Dan (the guy walking) and I did the left side after we parked. I mostly worked with Dan for the day, it was awesome stuff.

Here is a video link of the ridge after we parked the Ranger. The tree with spray paint is a RCW cavity tree and you can see where we raked a 12′ radius of the tree for additional protection. You can see the smoke through the woods and Forest (the guy I’m living/working with) walk through the frame

The smoke was pretty thick here. I took this up on top of the ridge. You can see the fire running up some vines that grew up the tree.

Well, I liked the Ranger Danger ride! You may
remember that we did burns every time we planted
100 acres of pines (every year for seven) in order
to keep my tree farm up to date. Amazing that the
hotter the fire the less damage because it travels
faster too….Wonder if you learned about not interrupting people’s conversation from my bad habit!!!! Never heard of How I Met Your Mother –
what channel??? Evolution book: Title? I have
always wanted to read more about it so if you will
